- Duplicate this template into your workspace (top-right ••• → Duplicate).
- Look at the Dashboard first — it already works, using the sample data below.
- Walk through "How It Works" once with the sample data (5 minutes).
- Delete the sample rows (each database has a "Sample Data" view that selects them all).
- Add your first real client and use it daily.
Everything in this template is self-contained: no external pages, no automations to set up, no other template required.

Your headline numbers live in the views below. Active projects, overdue deliverables, waiting revisions, and unpaid invoices are counted in their views. Your retainer MRR is the total at the bottom of the Retainer MRR view below.

How It Works
- Add a client — open Clients and add a real client, like the sample client Brightpath Dental.
- Create a project — in Projects, add a project for that client, for example the sample project "AI Receptionist Build" for Brightpath Dental.
- Break it into deliverables — add the pieces of work in Deliverables, each with a due date, like "Phone greeting script" due October 22.
- When the client asks for a change, log it right away — add a revision request in Revision Requests the moment the client asks, before you do the work, so nothing lives only in a chat thread. Try it with the sample request "Change greeting wording".
- Run retainers monthly — for a monthly client, keep a retainer in Retainers and update its Next Billing Date by hand each cycle. There is no automatic billing here — you move the date yourself each month.
- Invoice the work — add an invoice in Invoices for the project or retainer, like sample invoice INV-1041 for Brightpath Dental.
- Mark it paid — when the money arrives, set the invoice Status to Paid. Its Amount Outstanding drops to $0.
